Rakhi has been a dedicated member of our optical practice since 2014. Having originally joined us as Practice Manager, Rakhi has been at the heart of our growth for over a decade—leading with integrity, supporting our team, and ensuring our patients always receive exceptional care.

In May 2025, Rakhi took an exciting new step by becoming a director of the practice. With deep knowledge of our community, a strong vision for the future, and a proven track record of leadership, Rakhi is committed to guiding the practice into its next chapter while upholding the values that have defined us for years.

When she isn't at work, Rakhi enjoys spending time with her two sons and going out with friends.

Samir Jivanjee BSc(hons) MCOptom FBCLA

Samir was an integral part of our optical practice until 2020, known for his exceptional clinical skills and warm, patient-centred approach. In 2020, he left to take up a prestigious role as Head of Optometry at Western Eye Hospital, where he further developed his expertise and clinical leadership.

He holds an impressive suite of advanced qualifications, including a Diploma in Glaucoma, a Diploma in Independent Prescribing, and specialised training in advanced medical contact lenses. Samir is also a Fellow of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA)—a testament to his dedication to excellence and innovation within the field.

With special interests in contact lenses, glaucoma, dry eye management, and myopia management, Samir brings a depth of knowledge and a passion for delivering the highest standard of eye care. His combination of clinical expertise, advanced qualifications, and real compassion for patients makes him an exceptional optometrist and a respected leader in his field. 

Samir continues to hold his position at Western Eye Hospital two days a week, and has now returned to the practice as a Director, working alongside Rakhi to help lead the practice into its next chapter. 

In his spare time Samir enjoys going to the gym, camping with his son and time with his family

Sheenal  is an experienced Dispensing Optician with over 10 years of expertise in delivering high-quality, personalised eyewear solutions. She began her career at a prestigious, family-run optical practice in Chelsea, where she developed a reputation for exceptional patient care, attention to detail, and a refined understanding of luxury eyewear.

After taking time out to focus on raising her three children, Sheenal is now excited to return to the profession she loves. Her blend of experience, warmth, and professionalism makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

Sheenal is passionate about helping patients find eyewear that perfectly matches their visual needs, lifestyle, and personal style, and she looks forward to supporting our community with the same high standard of care that has defined her career.

Pooja Patel, BSc(hons) MCOptom

Pooja is a highly skilled Optometrist, qualified since 2017, with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate patient care. She joined our practice in October 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of the team.

With a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience across all areas of optometry, Pooja is committed to delivering thorough, personalised eye care. She has a special interest in myopia management and dry eye management, bringing advanced understanding and a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to these growing areas of patient need.

Her calm, patient-focused manner ensures that every individual feels listened to, supported, and confident in their treatment. Pooja is passionate about helping patients understand their eye health and finding the best solutions for their visual needs, making her an exceptional addition to our clinical team.

Edgars joins our practice with a strong background in healthcare operations and patient care. Formerly an Administration Manager at the Western Eye Hospital, he played a key role in coordinating the care of over 500 patients each week, ensuring smooth clinic operations and an exceptional patient experience.

Now training as a Dispensing Optician, Edgars brings both organisational expertise and a growing clinical skill set to our team. His understanding of patient pathways, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality service make him a valuable addition to the practice.

Edgars will be working closely with our clinical and dispensing teams to help deliver outstanding care and to support patients with all of their dispensing needs.

Chirag is a valued member of our front-of-house team, bringing warmth, professionalism, and excellent people skills to every patient interaction. Before joining the world of optics, Chirag worked as a bus driver, where he developed strong communication skills, patience, and a natural ability to make people feel at ease—qualities that now shine in his role within the practice.

New to the optical field, Chirag has embraced his training with enthusiasm. He supports the team with pre-screening, patient coordination, and ensuring every visitor receives a friendly and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door.
